WEDDING SNAP

Did you know there is an App for That? That's right, Weddingsnap.com has an app available that I think is one of the coolest ideas.  Social media equates to real time, and how fun would it be to view wedding photos from your guests during your reception.  With the WeddingSnap App, that is a real possibility.  It is easy to use for both you and your guests, and everyone can easlily upload their pictures from both a phone and digital camera to your online photo album which you create.  Make an announcement during the reception or you can create adorable stationary with all the information adn place them on your tables.

This is worth it to check it out....I loved playing around with it.

REAL WEDDINGS

There are more reasons than just pretty pumpkins and hot apple cider for why I love the fall season.  The other most inportant reason is this is time when wedding photos come in!  I am starting to see a flood of wedding photos on Facebook and Blogs, so here is your first peek at a night time party inspired wedding at the wonderful Empress Theatre, Main Street, Moncton. They rocked the night with delicious food, and music from The Big Bad Marty Band. Congrats Aimee and Jeff on your fabulous photos and for the wonderful wedding!

THE REHEARSAL DRESS

What could possibly be more exciting than your wedding day? The day before of course! You may not have thought of that first thing, but think about! The day before your wedding there is a wedding buzz in the air, spending time with family, picking up last minute things, and above all, the rehearsal dinner.  Wearing a white or ivory dress for your rehearsal is a great new trend! Why only where white on the big day, pick out a cute little number that can go from casual to dressed up and everwhere in between.

Here are a couple of my favourite looks, in none other than the best colour in the world *sigh*...white XOX

APPLE A DAY, INSPIRATION FOR TODAY

Happy October 1st everyone.  The air has a slight chill which means fall is in full swing, leaves are turning pretty shades of red and yellows, and inspirations are everywheres.  I tried to make my way to the local apple orchard this weekend for some "Fallish" acitivities but the rain crushed that dream.  It didn't however crush my inspiration for the blog.
There is nothing better than bitting into a crisp fall apple (I am eating one as I write this) so for fall weddings and parties, it makes sense to give apples as a party/wedding favour.  You can do deserts, plain apples, or jams, all of them are great ideas.  The great thing about using apples for favours is that you can use twigs, leaves, or pinecons to adorn any type of packaging.  Mix in twine for a true fall look, or step it up with beautiful patterned ribbons in warm tones.  Here are a few { super cute } ideas that we love:

A CLASSIC CALLA

Calla Lillies, a classic to weddings, represents purity with its pure white colour, and the trumpet shape of the flower is a symbol of the female body.  This beautiful flower can be used in bouquets in so many ways, and is great for creating unique shaped bouquets.  Here are some interesing and classic bouquets created with Calla Lilles.
